The novel series “The Way to Freedom” is the story about how modern civilization is being destroyed, by the destruction of the financial system and its core element, money, as the trends of ever increasing private and public debt keep accelerating, ignoring the warning sign provided by repeated crises. A Professor in economics, with a group of his former students, fights against this trend in order to reinstate an alternative monetary system based on gold, protecting private savings and property, and thereby individual freedom.
